GUILTY!!!!!!! WA man Brett Peter Cowan has been found guilty of murdering schoolboy Daniel Morcombe in today's Supreme Court. Our hearts and strength go out to the Morcombe family today as they are no doubt overwhelmed with emotions, as are just about every person in Australia and throughout the world who have watched your pain and grief for the past years hoping you get some closure and answers. A BIG Congratulations to the absolutely amazing work of the Queensland Police Service during this long, emotional and tiring investigation. You guys and girls have done yourself and the people of Australia immensely proud. The way you have managed this investigation is truly outstanding in every way. Even though we are no longer serving members of the QPS we still feel strongly connected to the Service. Another BIG Congratulations goes to Barrister Michael Byrne (Director of Public Prosecutons) who was the Prosecutor in this case. He has done an exceptional job of presenting the facts to the JURY and ensuring they had no choice but to find COWAN guilty. Michael is a long time friend of ours and we know how much work, emotion and effort he has put into this case. The hope of Australia was resting on his shoulders for quite some time. Huge relief for him and those that have been involved in this case.
